" look up "jiff or gif" on google, and low and behold the first result tells you the truth. The inventors of the format wanted it to be pronounced jiff. So Checkmate.

I just made this tutorial for reference, and I don't really know any of the hot-keys, or more advanced features, but so many people were having trouble with this older tutorial that I had to make a new one :P. Now I can just tell people that instead of trying to explain the process of getting the layers window.
