Chris Cornell was going to make this an upbeat heavy song, cause he liked the original bassline and thought it would make a good heavy guitar riff. But when he start really reading the lyrics, he felt that it needed to be slower than the original so that the story of the song can really stand out! Chris is amazing! Michael Jackson is amazing! They both fucking ROCK!
