Mar 6, 2007 - I went to a couple Petra concerts in the early - mid 90s (back in high school and college) and remember Louie doing his solo, but the man didn't sit the entire time. He ran around playing every single drum was great. Then there was Bob.... man stood stock still doing some killer rifs and my friends and I just cracked up. We kept yelling move! lol

Oct 21, 2007 - this looks and sounds a lot like the solo he did in Minneapolis but of course theres no way to be sure...louie was a better showman but this guy is faster

May 10, 2008 - I don't know if I would agree that Paul is faster than Louie. Paul is just a little more flashy with the double bass. They are both good players with different styles. I have seen Louie weaver go blistering fast on the set during some of his shows... Both guys are good and have great hearts.

Dec 19, 2008 - Great solo! 5 stars from me. I sure wish I knew what happened to Louie, though :(. It's not a matter of comparing the two drummers, it's just a matter of Louie being a part of the band for so long. It just doesn't seem like Petra without Louie. That guy was my motivation for drumming when I was a teenager. Still, Simmons is a rockin' drummer. His style/fills reminded me a lot of the way Louie played during concerts. Both are excellent drummers.

Feb 11, 2009 - Louie was fired by John Schlitt and Petras manager because the band wanted to go 'a different direction'. Louie and Petra have made amends but there are no plans for the band to play together again. They have officially retired Petra and are all doing solo projects
