Nov 3, 2009 - Sulu could beat his ass- he's a Master of the Arts Martial, after all.
emiwright Says:
Nov 3, 2009 - I like how even time machines from long dead, ancient civilizations on the other side of the galaxy speak English. It adds to the charm. Also got his head stuck in a mechanical rice picker. lol! This is one of my favorite eps!! :P
Vedcmar Says:
Nov 3, 2009 - well, Master Bates, I'll volunteer
cylinder4ify Says:
Nov 3, 2009 - Then Sulu would be confined to quarters smelling like the Captain's piss, and then face a court martial for assault. I mean c'mon, do u really think anyone on the bridge would step up to defend Mr. Sulu?
theantiepic Says:
Nov 3, 2009 - if you've ever seen the big bang theory, they made another nice point which your comment reminds me of... "have you noticed how in Star Trek everyone's private parts are the same? no alien women ever told Capt Kirk, 'Hey, get your thing out of my nose!' lol, you just totally reminded me of that!
cylinder4ify Says:
Nov 3, 2009 - Oh I'm just being stupid!!!!!;), thank you for the chat;), I actually grew up watching star trek from 1970's!!!!!!!! Very diverse cast, Sulu cool!!!!!! Just thought to add a little parody for fun!!!!! Enjoy the rest of Star Trek Episodes!!!!!!!
mechtech104 Says:
Nov 4, 2009 - sulu would kick his ass
cylinder4ify Says:
Nov 4, 2009 - See, you must understand that in a real scenerio, a commission Captain out in outer space can do what *%%% he wants!!!! If Sulu even trys to attack the captain, he would just be confined to quarters,.....smelling like piss too!!!!!, and then get court martial for hitting the captain. What he gonna tell the panel? The Captain pissed on me?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
feifeizhao Says:
Nov 4, 2009 - 7 people need beaming up in the end, but only 6 transporter spots...guess who didn't make it :P

Nov 8, 2009 - XD Lost in Transportation
colorful81 Says:
Nov 8, 2009 - because spock looks adorable in a peacoat.
PADRAEG Says:
Nov 8, 2009 - Not one of the best episodes, despite the awards. IF Enterprise ceased to exist because of McCoy, then they would ALL cease to be, also, n'est-ce pas?
jaxzurr Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - Not in this case, the answer is in the title. Edge of Forever. That Being and Machine, the time portal, had the power to allow travelers to enter anytime period. The reason why crew was not altered as such, was because that portal and force behind it was apparently outside time and space. With the crew being adjacent to it, it was being protected by the "eternal" powers. Therefore they were not altered, but could go back if they had to do correct history.
FarrenfollowsBen Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - You are forgetting that Kirk has Spock...always at his side.
FarrenfollowsBen Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - After Kirk and Spock ask the guardian some questions, the guardian says "Behold....a gateway to your own past- if you wish." Then images of Earth's past are presented. But Spock is from Vulcan, Earth's past has nothing to do with him!
MsOliviaGarden Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - Well, Spock is half Vulcan-half human, so the Guardian probably figures that the intersection of Spock and the rest of group is Earth, so Earth's history XD
trwent Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - Joan Collins = the ultimate Star Trek babe!! This is not the only time in the series that someone escapes ship's security and gone to the transporter room and transported himself somewhere. You would think that they would have the transporter room better guarded. Chase commercial: The woman looks quite elegant. The guy looks like some lunch bucket Joe. They do not seem to belong together.
QshesshoumaruQ Says:
Nov 15, 2009 - Don't they have more than one transproter room?
ieatnuggetswithafork Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - It's bc she spent all those dang Chase points on herself.
adrius Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - It's implied that being on the planet near the Guardian protects them from the changes in the timeline. It's happened in Star Trek plenty of times, such as the "Temporal Wake" in First Contact or the Temporal Shields in Year of Hell. This appears to set the precedent :)
erroneousapostrophe Says:
Nov 17, 2009 - Theft, resisting arrest and an assault (Valcan nerve pinch) on an officer. Tsk tsk.
rodneyshenk Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - I love this episode, but... why weren't shows better thought out back then? Yeah, we all know the "everyone speaks english" problem, but we suspend our disbelief because it's foundational to the show. But why even go here: The guardian says "I am my own beginning and my own end", then a couple minutes later "I was made to offer the past in this manner. I cannot change". Um, but you made yourself... One of Star Trek's many obvious shallow God parallels. And why is the past in black and white?
yamaholic Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - Joan Collins was hot!

cylinder4ify Says:
Nov 3, 2009 - No, really, I'm talkin pure drama man!!!!!! Use your imagination, Kirk goes over and pisses on Mr. Sulu's console, then zips his pants, goes back to his chair then says 'full speed ahead" sulu would have to obey cause he's the captain!!!! I mean what could he do about it? Nothing!!!! you dont thinks thats good drama?!!!
