True, I do agree, many Christians are infinitely less knowledgeable about their own religion than many Atheists, Agnostics, New-Agers, etc., and their ignorance has led them to A.) blindly follow religion on a basis of "he/she said so, so it must be right," and B.) shoot blame and judgment at many people, which is an unacceptable practice, as Jesus clearly states, "Why do you point out the splinter in one man's eye when there is an entire plank of wood in your own?"

Nov 17, 2009 - 2.) The Old and New Testament clearly addresses the issues of homosexuality and whatnot, but the passages are simply stating how a Christian should live. Never, absolutely never does our Lord tell us to persecute or judge, but rather to love others....he made it a point to dine with the "sinners" of his time. He showed us how we are to live, and you simply cannot put the past persecutions and current ignorance of other so-called "Christians" on the heads of the "handful" of true Christians.

(military records for instance)
