Sep 1, 2009 - Grumpyoldog, why don't you watch the film - it's out on DVD. In it you'll get to see this filthy (no dispute there - a prison cell covered in excrement is filthy) "murdering" bastard (his parents who are heartbroken at his decision to go on hungerstrike are portrayed in the film so I'd guess he's not a true bastard). He gets beaten to a pulp a few times and he dies the worst death so it might make you feel better. Why don't you read about his life, you might be enlightened.

The UDA fired gunshots through his family's living room window and a gang tried to stab him to death. His family was forced out of their home. All this happened BEFORE he joined the IRA, in other words for no other reason than the fact that he was Catholic
