By the way, a god who is not violent by his own nature, how could he have done such horrible things?I was a christian, but when i read all these nonsense in the bible, i stopped being one. Jun 7, 2009 - the catholic church does not even use the bible as the basis for their doctorine, most of the catholics' beliefs, eg communion, the heirarchy are either condemned by scripture of simply not included or supported in the bible. there is a very remote chance that the pope has never read the bible, but there is a 99% chance that he has.

Sep 7, 2009 - While it is likely that he did read the bible, and if he wanted to prove that the pope didn't he should have more evidence, but it takes a person who is very skilled at lying to themselves to read the old testament and conclude god isn't violent. In the passage he cites about the 1st born sons being killed, think, "why did that happen?" are you ready? becuase GOD HARDENED PHAROH'S HEART. I agree that he should redo the vid with a better premise but the idea that Yahweh isn't violent is idiotic.
