Nov 9, 2009 - i think they cued the music because i guess they thought it would make the moment more magical... I mean CUBA GOODING JR. is ecstatic naturally so the music just fueled his fire; and made this one of the greatest oscar moments EVER :-)

Nov 19, 2009 - Most people stop talking or hurry through their speech when the music starts; everyone should do what Cuba did and just keep talking over the music. It's like having your own background soundtrack for your speech...live, and performed by a full orchestra. Makes your speech even more dramatic...
