Jul 6, 2009 - I don't know about anyone else but Jeff Korber was hot in a rough sort of way. And I liked Robert Picardo as well. But, I think that Robert Picardo was type cast because after that he was a doctor on one of the incarnations of Star Trek. I was upset when it was cancelled also. I truly loved it as much as I loved M*A*S*H.

Jul 12, 2009 - This show is 20 years gone... We are as many years distant from this television show as the Vietnam War was to "China Beach" when it first aired. Funny, back then 20 years seemed like a long time. This show helped to heal a lot of old wounds. One of my students is from Da Nang and her eyes lit up when I asked her if she ever went swimming at China Beach. It's still a popular hang out, and it's still known by it's English Name.

Sep 6, 2009 - One of the finest to ever grace the television screen. Never missed an episode. I know this would be big on dvd, so why hasn't it happened yet. TOUR OF DUTY is available and it wasn't half as good as CHINA BEACH.

Oct 4, 2009 - they keep remaking hospital dramas on TV, three rivers, Mercy so why in the heck don't they get back to some Mash comedy and some seriousness of War with some China Beach era? The Networks are idiots if they think this subject matter wouldn't be watched, with the right cast they could kick some major rating but, its all about the writers and the actors so get on it NBC your must see TV is almost DNR
