Oct 27, 2009 - I'm glad you didn't deny he is a Marxist. You see McCain isn't conservative by any means. That is why I couldn't support him. I hate to say it but Obama is taking your freedom buddy.
rdavian Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - no offense to any one but the internet is why obama is president. so why wouldnt he support net neutrality?
rdavian Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - obviously your only looking at the surface. why cant you see the underlying factor is beyond me. but hey mccain supports no neutrality so you got a freind there.
thisisblasphamy Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - mhm obamas a marxist yeah enjoy your cookie buddy we all win
thisisblasphamy Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - the reason you supplied for obama being marxist: hes attacking fox (wont even insult fox myself, i dont find it worth my time) a station that is constantly attacking him. yeah guess i know alot of marxists then
PegsEP Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - Look at his policies you idiot and what he has said. Its like he is a South American dictator by attacking a news agency
Meejoe27 Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - McCain is fighting hard to take away our freedom. I voted for McCain and seeing him say he wants to eliminate Net Neutrality makes me sick to my stomach. I now am VERY thankful that he didn't win. If he was president he would be pushing to rob us of a free internet and i would be an accomplice to the biggest loss of freedom in this century. I can't imagine a world where Net Neutrality isn't preserved, its just too much for me to even consider.
roflsteaksauce Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - true that hehehe
PegsEP Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - If the internet is your main concern for freedom and liberty then you need to sit back and take another look. This President is taking more freedom then the internet. Its like a sleight of hand.
RaginCelt Says:
Oct 29, 2009 - What rights have you lost under President Obama? I know freedoms were curbed when Bush was President.
psychobillybert Says:
Nov 1, 2009 - Is this video not loading up for anyone else or just me?
thoughtchallenge Says:
Nov 1, 2009 - PegsEP- Keep in mind that Fox has attacked him repeatedly in the past. They said that he went to a radical islamist fundamentalist school for example. They constantly call him a marxist. Obama just said that they were not a news organization, but simply a tool of the Republican party. As far as being a dictator, remember it was Bush that began the practice of recording all phone conversations foreign and domestic.

Nov 8, 2009 - I'm not feelin' this propaganda.....
avengemm9dog Says:
Nov 8, 2009 - Ignorance at its best. Regulation of the internet is regulation of free speech. If you have an internet provider that restricts you access to certain sites than switch to one that wont. Net neutrality is a slippery slope. Oh and fuck the FCC and its constant regulation of free of speech.
w0smith Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - If 2 or 3 companies own everyone's access to the network, that isn't possible. In most markets in this country consumers only have 1 or 2 choices for broadband as it - and ISPs are continuing to consolidate. They will not innovate to benefit consumers - as they see old business models slipping away, they will alter their business models to get more money out of "premium" data services. if we don't stop them the 90s and 00s will be seen as the a brief golden age of internet innovation
w0smith Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - South American dictators shut down the TV station. The White House just made the obvious observation that Fox is biased, and they don't need to provide them with any special, exclusive media access if they don't feel like it, so what? Bush never gave an interview to the New York Times in 8 years.
w0smith Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - Would you dare to call Vint Cerf and Tim Berners-Lee (the men who engineered the internet and the world wide web) "ignorant"? Because they completely disagree with you and think net neutrality is vital to maintaining the internet as a strong source of innovation, education and economic growth. Sorry, but I'll go with the creators of the internet over the opinion of telecom lobbyists and John McCain.
avengemm9dog Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - Prehaps ignorant isn't the right word but i do think their view is wrong. Let me state this clearly internet is NOT a right. I do not want to see any form of government regulation or "protection" of the internet. It's very simple if you do not want an internet provider that does not give you the best internet acces to certain sites than don't use the services of that internet provider. There is no FCC regulation needed to protect net neutrality.
PegsEP Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - So what if Bush didn't give an interview to the New York Times? He never went out and said it really wasn't a new source.
VTVStudios Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - Your letting your distorted opinions provided by Fox, Limbaugh.. destroy your logic. ATT, Comcast.. are paying $MILLIONS$ to control the internet. And this is your Idea of, It will work itself out? Fact: John McCain the sponsor of the " I'm against equal rights for all except those with lots of money" bill, got record setting payola from the companies that are against net neutrality. Why? You're either brainwashed, work for one of the companies that want to control the internet or both.
VTVStudios Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - avengemm9dog Your ignorance and those who share it are what will take your Freedom of Speech away. Having the internet controlled by a few companies will NOT provide freedoms it will take them away.
w0smith Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - What difference does it make how the White House chooses to label fox news? News Corp is a huge corporation that can fend for themselves - no one is trying to silence them. But considering they devote 24/7 coverage to trying to destroy Obama, and heavily promote political activism against the left - I think the accusation that they aren't a traditional news outlet is appropriate and well earned.
w0smith Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - Once again, there isn't nearly enough choice in the market for consumers to have enough leverage to make those decisions - and this isn't just about individual consumers - this is about business. ISPs could wipe out potential competitors and innovative start ups by refusing them access. Power companies can't refuse you electricity based on what you intend to use it for - thus it should be for the internet. Internet access will be just as important as having electricity or running water.

thisisblasphamy Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - "you dont think hed like to shut down peoples voices on the internet?" well you see obama isnt. right now the one who IS ACTUALLY DOING IT is McCain. you can talk about all of these bad intentions of obama but he is doing the exact opposite of what he is being accused of - taking away freedom. mccains doing that
