Aug 23, 2009 - I'm in college too man and I'm with you 100%. My buddies and I blast the Born to Run album whenever we go visit our friends at a University. Nothin beats cruisin on the highway listening to that stuff. Springsteen is my favorite musician. I love everything the guy has done.

lazlowithguitar Says:

silverfencer Says:

Aug 31, 2009 - Ive only recently gotten into him and I graduate highschool in 6 weeks, I just cant get over how poetic and deep his music is when you compare it to the crap that is todays music. God I wish I was born in the 60s for music so I could live through the 70s as a teenager

lazlowithguitar Says:

Sep 1, 2009 - oh yeah i dont want that this happens...! I couldnt live without him he is like a buddy to me,he ever shares the pain with me or the lonely nights outside on the fields,or when i have good moments or just my thinking my point of view... i just couldnt imagine a live without bruce...

Sep 1, 2009 - just incredible passion by an incredible artist. i sure wish this whole concert would be released for the darkness 30 yr. ann. i know it's a yr. late, but that would be awesome. to me he's the best ever and those years from '75-'85 was the best run of great music of all time. even through '88 w/ tunnel of love. that's a great album too.

Jaidstone Says:

Oct 9, 2009 - whoever doesn't like Bruce, isn't alive!

bwelc00 Says:

Oct 9, 2009 - I know that people might talk about other talents, and I'm a HUGE fan of Dylan, but for someone who puts it all together, someone who can write a song like this that speaks to the reality of human experience, sing it with such passion and play with the kind of musicianship he does. Damn. I just can't think of anyone that can put that experience together for an audience like that. Maybe for a couple great albums but for 40 years?

hamrickdr Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - Since you're in college... If you want to blow away your English prof, write a paper analyzing the psychological progression of the narrator throughout this album, from the angry, fighting-mad attitude of "Badlands" to the resignation in this song, the closing track. It's great rock, great lyrics, and actually means something. Hard to beat!

n8trsho Says:

Oct 25, 2009 - Classic. And here we are 30 years later and he's still rockin' it!! Amazing.

AugustusPablo808 Says:

Oct 26, 2009 - Yes - as an Englishman I'd say it's one of the very greatest American albums. He was rocking it at Glastonbury 2009 but not quite like this I'm afraid.

subcomandantetroncos Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - Ther's no resignation in this song, the last verses explain carefully as the main character/narretor has no will to give up.

hamrickdr Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I didn't say that well--I meant that he is resigned to the fact that there are things he can't change, some people will let him down, and some dreams won't come true--but you're right, he's still standing at the end. Maybe "resolution" is a better word than "resignation".

blackdogleg Says:

Nov 8, 2009 - In NJ no wonder just fucking WOW

fliiegsimifliieg Says:
