May 21, 2009 - first of all u cant play live with logic pro :) its for production. since pvd uses laptops he always play from ableton serato. but now when he doesnt use cds he doesnt need serato too. so why he uses 2 mac's ? idk too at all :)))))

May 21, 2009 - On first laptop he has ableton. For creative music stuff. xD And on second laptop he has serato scratch live, for turnbales or CDs. Serato is a Digital Vinyl System. Ableton is realtime powerfull sequencer.

May 22, 2009 - Serato=Digital Vinyl System. You can control software via Vynils or CDs with timecod (timecoded vinyls) On this video PvD use timecoded vynils as you can see.

Jun 1, 2009 - First Laptop = Ableton Second= Logic He isnt a dj who need only 2 or 4 decks sometimes he need more than 5 or so on. you cant work with more than 4 decks on only one laptop! not with a software like traktor or serato. only ableton can do this.
