Crazy, for thinkin' that my love could hold you, I'm crazy for tryin, and crazy for cryin And I'm crazy for lovin' you....

Gaetano0926 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - Indeed. If you've seen her biography you can tell she had a sad, miserable marriage, I do not think she ever enjoyed the money she was making. Marrying to Charles Dick was a huge mistake on her part.. but you can't control your heart I guess...Nevertheless her voice was great and her songs are timeless and unforgettable.!!

PatchworkDream Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I think her pain is what made her voice so memorable-you can't have a voice that makes your very soul weep, unless you know exactly what you are singing about. because you have been there too....it seems all the great artists had to suffer for their gift.....maybe that's why they die before their time, because you can only suffer so much, before it gets to you???

kreepykrawlie Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - Patsy died in a plane crash, not of a broken heart.

PatchworkDream Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - KreepyKrawlie-my comment was meant more in a rhetorical fashion-I know Patsy died in a plane crash...but her unhappy marriage was common knowledge-she may very well have had a broken heart in the plane crash you know;-)

swsanders Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - In that case we could say Hank Sr. died of a broken heart too, because he probably wouldn't have drank himself to death so quickly if his wife hadn't have left him and he hadn't been kicked off the opry.
