Aug 18, 2009 - Very good vid overall but the reason you gave for boxing glove thumbs being sown to the glove itself is incorrect. I'm 37 I remember when they did this the primary reason was to keep people from being gouged in the eye

Aug 18, 2009 - you definitely could be right, that makes sense also. peace!

Aug 29, 2009 - thanks !!! it really helps a lot ! do you have videos about defending ? Cause i'm not really strong to hold big guy's punch and they have long arms so when i do tan saou, i still get hit sometimes 0.0

Aug 29, 2009 - Thank-you, I'm a Muay-Thai practitioner and did not know about the thumb placement. Most of the time we have our gloves on and never really put much thought into thumb placement. Now I'm curious time to go hit the heavy bag without gloves. But I'm still not buying the whole steering wheel thing. I seem to punch harder going the boxing route than using any other form.

Oct 18, 2009 - The winner in a fight is usually the one who believes he can defeat his opponent. Being or acting tough has nothing to do with it. Let the guy make some faces because i would in reaction to such an amazing explanaton. lifes too short to judge that b.s., you're only making your own world smaller. Just because he isnt the teacher doesnt mean you have to show him any less respect.
