Oct 31, 2009 - I'm a huge Elton John fan, and this is the first time I've heard this song. This guy has so many great songs that it's going to take near eternity for me to fully appreciate all of them!!

UrMommaLovesMe Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - what the hell do you expect? he wrote it so he could sing it with his voice at the time. now he's old and his voice has deepened.

wraithblack Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - Actually, some time ago he had pollups removed from his vocal cords. He hasn't been able to hit the high notes ever since.

007koko007 Says:

Nov 2, 2009 - That is actualy not quite true. He removed pollips from his vocal chords in 1987 (if I'm not wrong) and that saved his voice. He could still hit high notes and some of his songs (Sacrifice, Since God Invented Girls) can prove that. His voice was deeper and deeper every year and that is only because of ageing process. His voice now is completely different and much deeper than his voice from 1992 for example. His voice before operation was also deeper in early 80'es than in early 70'es.
