Nov 14, 2009 - This guy is the fucking man. i cant believe...well i can that they would pull this shit on anyone. people need to know their rights!
yamagoof Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - Did anything come of this??? Did that stupid bitch get fined or fired or anything???
Mom2BTJ Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - What the hell? If you don't have anything to hide? I wouldn't let an officer in my house unless he has a warrant or he is responding to a crime going on. I am big on my constitutional rights. Although, I have told my children to cooperate with the police if they are stopped and if the cop is wrong we will take care of it later. I don't want them shot or tasered.
Mom2BTJ Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - I did question the police officer who wrote the report when my son was hit by a car while my son was on his bike. The officer answered all my questions in a very polite manner. Maybe our cops could give lessons to the cop in the video. I do hope that the man in the video sued and won for that woman coming on his property without permission. I also hope the cop got written up.

Nov 16, 2009 - I saw this video a few years ago. Did the guy sue??
kstack10 Says:
Nov 17, 2009 - This guy is right on the money with his rights under the 4th. While she may be a health official, Camara v. Municipal Court, says that she still needs PC to issue a warrant. She was wrong to enter the property, and the policeman was wrong is his assessment that he thought if there was a health violation she could enter. Notice the officer's lack of knowledge/coercive colloquy. In a suit in federal court he would be lucky to get 10-15k settlement from the govt.
ghfloorman Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - Possibly. Where can this be confirmed? (No disrespect, but this is the web after all ; )
Libertarious2009 Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - You should have weapons out! This bitch and officer cooper KNEW they were wrong! I hope you sue!
kstack10 Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - Camara v. Municipal Court, 387 U.S. 523 (1967)
getabikini Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - I would love to know the outcome of this. You are a total win case here.
x11115 Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - if he shot her the nazi thug cop would have shot him.
x11115 Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - he shouldn't have to.
x11115 Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - the police officer had no reason to be there. he was helping her break the law.
happyguy2300 Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - Let me explain my policy....Any person entering my property wiyhout permission or warrant are subject to search. All weapons must be surrendered. non compliance shall result in a citizens arrest. Resisiting arrest shall result in a major ass whoopin. do you understand this policy?....do you have any questions?...you may now decide to leave or comply with the policy.
mrcarlos15 Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - This cop is dumb as bricks and this woman is so arrogant and doesn't realize the seriousness of her actions.
mrcarlos15 Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - This guy is completely right.
MfIrKaEnYz Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - I agree, just come back with a warrant you fucking idiot. That's the whole point the man in the video was trying to make, and that was that he WOULD let them on his propertyif they obeyed the laws they try to uphold and had done the lawful thing and gotten a search warrant. Get your shit straight before you criticize ok dumbass?
mikejackson4ever Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - The majority of cops know jack-shit about the constitution they swear an oath to uphold. This guy could have pointed a gun at them and told them to leave, and he would be well within his rights. That is THE PRIMARY PURPOSE of the second amendment. They are in breach of contract, and he had the right to physically defend himself. Unfortunately, the majority of Americans don't know their rights, and they naively allow cops to violate them.
pontala Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - what you are planning to do? this is an issue that need to be addressed! If the people of this country to not stand up for our right the pirate and tyrant will not do that for us! let me know if you need any help
PhuqueU Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - Hose that bitch down with water and sue both her department, and his.
mrcarlos15 Says:
Nov 26, 2009 - As a government official, she has to give him her name. These to incompetent assholes are ridiculous. They have no concept of the seriousness of their actions.
mrcarlos15 Says:
Nov 26, 2009 - No warrant violates illegal search and seizure. She is a government official and needs a warrant.
DavidForthoffer Says:
Nov 26, 2009 - mrcarlos15: Warrants are related to the Fourth Amendment, which protects "persons, houses, papers, and effects". Since the health inspector did not search any of those, she did not need a warrant.
DavidForthoffer Says:
Nov 26, 2009 - mrcarlos15: It certainly seems reasonable to me that a government official has to give their name on request (with reasonable exceptions such as concerning undercover police officers). However, I could not find any law that actually said that. Have you found such a law?

TheMadFlea Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - uh... so what happened? I'd like to hear the conclusion to this story and how much he won in the lawsuit?
