May 24, 2009 - the verses are so beautiful. when Radha and Lord Krishna talk about union they mean the union of the hearts, the souls...not the bodies exactly. They mean 'true love' with the soulmate...the western concept of true love is distorted with their belief that sex and pleasure is top priority in choosing a mate but that's not true love. when it is true love sex is not necessary because u feel extreme pleasure from just the union of the hearts and souls.

All earthly bonds are temporary and are lost with death. Our true bondage is with the lord (krishna) alone. Gopis realise this and out of deep love for their creator and lord invite him to spend time with them by means of raas leela. Krishna is the creator and so hes nt adharmi! he just accepts the bond his devotee wants 2have wid him ! tats no wrong!
