May 30, 2008 - The terminology used is a bit misleading. It's not a "fetus" - it's the same age as him. Neither is it "dead" per se - it's living, growing tissue. Basically, he was always a siamese twin, but his brother (who lacked a head and was joined at the abdomen) escaped detection because his body was entirely contained within his brother's skin. The brother would likely be about three feet "tall" if fully extended. It's basically half-way between a normal siamese twinning and genetic mosaicism.
