Dec 26, 2008 - Actually Li plays the ending correctly, according to the score I have, which is the GSP authorized edition. It is John Williams who cuts to the coda three measures late. Well, I don't think John Williams did that accidentally. I think it sounds better that way. The original version leaves the listener feeling as if it has ended abruptly, as evidenced by the number of posts suggesting that Li did exactly that. Well, who is 'Right'?

Before even reading your comments I was literally just thinking how much more lyrical this performance is compared to her older recording of it, and it gave me the impression that she has had plenty of experiences since the last recording where she was pretty young (about 15 or 16) I don't normally like this piece much for some reason, but this performance really stood out and I really enjoyed it.
