Even though these phrases already sound kind of cliche because of the way much Western media presents them, there cannot be a unipolar world, as it is increasingly unstable. But I'm wondering, with the depletion of natural resources, and only certain countries being in control of them, will life in the multi-polar world really be better for everybody?

Will everybody share resources and there'll be no negative effects for the West (but still positive for everybody else)? Putin is right about the double standards still applied (to Russia) after the Cold War, but the simple truth is that its in the West's interests to keep Russia down, it's too big and strong of a potential competitor.
