Sep 4, 2009 - THis movie was extremely violent and graphic. I think Steve McQueen did a fantastic job at showing the inhumane, merciless conditions that these poor men experienced. On a larger scale it depicted the apathy and coldness of Margaret Thatcher, may this all come back to torment her soul forever.

Nov 14, 2009 - Watched Hunger last night! The starvation scenes werent preety! The movie stated that 10 men died from the hunger strike and that 16 prison guards were murdered by paramilitaries also during this time! Was the will of Bobby Sands greater than that of the leadership of the IRA? It seems that the level of comittment was different and perhaps it still is!
