Oct 29, 2009 - "Insanity" has been defined as repeating the same actions expecting different results. Meanwhile this video is simply a glorified aerobics class.

NickaPalooooza Says:

Oct 29, 2009 - Ive finished P90x recently and lookin for more. Will another round of P90x or Insanity get me more toned?

StevenHGiang Says:

Oct 29, 2009 - in my opinion if you want to bulk up p90x is the way to go while insanity is used to get leaner and more tone

h4ppydriver Says:

Oct 29, 2009 - Looks like a killer program LoL Ensure you can do it by controling your safe cardio levels: Taking a top of 200 bpm (beats per minute), substract your age. People with low phisical activity also add 40 to the substraction. Example: im 35 so my bpm might not exceed 165 (200-35) If i stay inactive for 2-3 months i know my safe limits would be 125 (165-40) Staying in shape is cool ... but also staying alive is important :p Happy training

h4ppydriver Says:

Oct 29, 2009 - is it 200 bpm-age(-40 when inactive)? or is it kinda "lets go till cardio colapse"?

Oct 31, 2009 - P90x IS better. Because of the fact that it includes weight training with cardio workouts. muscle development is important for weight loss. muscle workout burn calories for hours after the work out is done. for sumone who is very over weight the muscle training helps to tighten lose skin as weight comes off. Im not putting down Insanity it is an excellent work out but i jus tthink that p90x is more complete

sk8guitarest Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - if its insain as it looks cardio levels keeping up with heart rate is a very big deal even for young people.....dont get heart rate tooo high....

elvebrothergenju Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I would do Insanity AFTER doing P90X so that you can Tone that new muscle ya got from P90X. Of course you could also do P90X and then P90X+ then do Insanity.

imsuchafatboy Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - not knocking weights.. but being a boxer, i know you don't "need" weights to burn fat effectively.... the motions they are doing are enough to build muscle... take 1 week off working out.. then do one of these videos. and you'll feel sore, as if you lifted weights the day after.

newforce3 Says:

Nov 7, 2009 - this is a great program and its results are even better when mixed with P90X in a hybrid routine. Try to mix the resistance training of P90X with the cardio of Insanity for awesome results.

atriancarlos Says:

Nov 9, 2009 - Done both p90x and insanity.. Insanity is real roughy but worth it... Planning to do rev abs next.. :)

Nov 11, 2009 - I think I would rather do this than P90X, even though I have P90X and not this lol :(

Nov 11, 2009 - Here are some answers to the questions below. I played soccer competitively for 8 years. I thought I was as physically fit as I could possibly be. Then i started Insanity. The warm-up kicked my ass. The first video which you do is called Plyometric Cardio Circuit. This will beat you into submission. I'm on week 4.5 and loving every 'effin day of it. It pushed me to places I never thought I could go. My shoulders and arms are more defined. My legs stronger, and my core is rock solid. Buy this!!!

Ariesjp Says:

Nov 11, 2009 - i want it reall bad!

anubistiger Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - I really want to buy this but I don't think I'll be able to keep up. Seriously, I think only fitness instructors will be able to do intense bursts of exercise

brentjedi Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - could someone (me) who is unfit do this? It looks real hard, I would be out in 5 minutes

mischieftech Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - I've been doing p90x for almost 2 years now. I just purchased this today, and i cant wait to try it. It'll be nice to have new work out.

wrangomonger Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - What about us older (40-50) folks? Can this workout be "toned down" so as not to land in the hospital? I gotta do something! I was a body builder when I was in my late teens and twenties. You would never guess that by the way I look now. Gotta drop some weight and tone up a bit. Looks like "fun" kinda.

Prelude0125 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - absolutely not. I've been doing the p90 (not the p90x but the original) for like two months now (getting into the final phase) Insanity is still tougher than hell. If you keep trying every day, you'd be able to do it. You'd just have to half ass it for a while. Lol.

guyanesegurl81 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - i had to do dis in gmymmm !

Nov 20, 2009 - im in my week 3 and started my weight was 200 lbs now im 190 lbs - - - its hard but it works :)

stinkypillow11 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - im sure u can, u can just start off doing a bit less..and then work ur way up =)

BRUXXUS Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Probably not, if you're REALLY out of shape you might want to try something a little easier. I was super out of shape, just finished day 20, and it kicks my ass everyday. If you've ever been in shape and want t get back you can do it for sure. Just keep up as much as you can.
