PhilosophicalViking Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - William Blake, Arthur Rimbaud, Edgar Allan Poe and James Douglas Morrison all perused the darker side of reality so we didn't have to. And they brought back a piece of that darkness that is so capable of consuming you whole. I appreciate what they did and I think more people should.
peetolator Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - Is the end a beginning? The dark a paler shade of light? Existence may be the underpinning of Reality but what of the unknown? There are a lot of questions out there and we need to find them before we answer ourselves.
PhilosophicalViking Says:
Nov 15, 2009 - Depending on how you look at it there is no End ...only a change in your state of mind...upon death perceptions change from the physical to the purely mental...when you trip on LSD all of your most lucid and poignant experience occurs within the confines of your mind..so death becomes the ultimate trip. Death is the End of the body yet the Beginning of the mind, no longer is the mind convoluted by bodily experiences. My opinion is based on Ancient Greek thought.
Nackles Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - My favorite part of this song is the very last line, as Morrison sings it: "This is...the...eeeeeeeennnnnnnd." It sounds so funereal, so final. It's the perfect ending to this song.

Nov 21, 2009 - so much going on here. this is my favorite popular version of this song. that fella on the left of the stage is on something wonderful. and the keyboardist is on the same stuff. and for those of you moe. fans, theres a lot of rebubula influence here and there in this tune......
Djordjekv Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - Jim vs His own fears, without asking about price or the end, was in perpetual war for perpetual peace and love, was (not) in Time, but created the longest possible NOW, did not know for so called "past" or "future", because they really does not exist - I could not respect anything else more than that kind of honesty. He belongs there where is no Time able to goes up, only in a way of idealism, and that is why He lives as the greatest creator of history.
slick3xexx Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - Great comment, The only one that could of said it better is Jim himself.
