Oct 1, 2009 - The Hills actually isn't scripted, however, they are put in situations purposely. Like, the director kind of tells them where to go, etc. The way they react to it is what is used on the show. So, yeah, it is somewhat fake. That's why they always go on cool trips and how they all just happen to run into each other at all the clubs. The directors tell them where to go. That's how they create the drama. I love the show, though. Haha. I don't care that it's a little fake. (:
