Oct 3, 2009 - And I can laugh on how you guys believe Evolution and the Big Bang came from nothing. And that even the most "scientiffically impossible" situations are just coincidental. Now you understand what I'm trying to say. BTW I'm not a christian, smartass.
RockaRollaZombie Says:
Oct 3, 2009 - True, no one is proposing it but when it comes to points where neither side can explain a situation, atheists and theists must respect each other's opinions because neither can prove it. And to say that something started the Big Bang and Evolution is I.M.O less childish than saying nothing did.
Mr88playmaker Says:
Oct 3, 2009 - There is no such thing as language originating form an "it". language only originates from a "mind"'/"thought" and can only "evolve" (as in be altered) via at least one MIND (period). DNA is encoded with Intel / information. Information exists independently of its medium. DNA coed is language by definition, just as computer code is language. The only languages known to man are of human mind origin, and DNA language which some regard as authored by God, and others others by aliens.
TheTupacolypse Says:
Oct 11, 2009 - He's trying to say how fucking stupid and absurd religion is. If there was a God, there would be no atheists and everyone on the planet would believe in him. What is he waiting for? All he has to do is show himself! Get some proof of God, then come back. Until then, I'm sticking with what technology and science have discovered, not what a 2000 year old book says.
RockaRollaZombie Says:
Oct 11, 2009 - And when have I said I support Catholics? What I am saying is that when both sides can not come up with a clear and definate answer, you must respect both ideas. This is why I hate being an Atheist, because of ignorant assholes like most of the people commenting on here including you. You are just as bad as Catholics.
RockaRollaZombie Says:
Oct 11, 2009 - I support science but I support whoever can come up with the best answer, God or no God. Grow up, kid.
TheTupacolypse Says:
Oct 11, 2009 - Look at the Bible. Can you find anything that have helped mankind? Everything in it is completely bs and the moral of it is TERRIBLE. Science has given us thousands of answers and completely crushed many things that the Bible says. Religion holds mankind back, while science helps us forward. I can't really see why people pick religion. Now why am I ignorant? Hahaha, I'm as bad as Catholics, huh? That sentence was incredibly stupid and wrong, and you know it.
RockaRollaZombie Says:
Oct 11, 2009 - What I ment was that we must be open to all ideas when we can't find an answer anywhere. Besides, there is more to God than a Bible. Many regular people who believe are christians, jews, muslims, etc. believe that their books of faith are just stories with lessons much like Aesop's Fables. And many of the morals in those stories are ones that everyone is taught, w/ religion or not. Also, many scientists used what they discovered as a way to show how great God is (Galileo).
RockaRollaZombie Says:
Oct 11, 2009 - And you say religion holds us back. Why I say you're ignorant is because when someone tries to explain why they believe what they believe, people like you just say "HURR DURR YURE AN IDIOT CAUSE YURE NOT AN ATHEIST!!1!". Instead of being scientific and try to learn, you act like a hardcore Catholic and ignore it with personal attacks and statements of slight truth. Now, I'm not debating whether or not a Bible is more credible than a science textbook because the textbook is but I'm saying that...
RockaRollaZombie Says:
Oct 11, 2009 - let people be. If we can at least be accepting on what people believe and be open to learn a thing or two, then the world will be a better place. Eradicating people because of what they believe will do nothing but cause extremism.
atheistfriends Says:
Oct 17, 2009 - Most Christians understand the Athiest arguments for why they don't believe in God but they can never accept that position because it would mean denying the personal connection with God that they've experienced. Christians explain that intellectual investigation isn't how you make that connection but Atheists prefer to do what they know doesn't work, so that they can continue to tell Christians the reasons why there is no God! Watch the new "Atheist Girl vs Christian Girl" video on my channel.

Oct 30, 2009 - you are truly ignorant to any thought outside your own...
kidrebel20002000 Says:
Oct 30, 2009 - i resent that...you are complaining about stereotyping and yet you are pigeonholing catholics...brilliant
20nineaug94 Says:
Oct 30, 2009 - can't you see? Religions was first created because people weren't as smart now. So whatever they found weird, "GOD!" We are grew smarter over the years.. reality is growing bigger. Unfortunately, not everyone grows wise.
TheTupacolypse Says:
Oct 30, 2009 - Lol yeah I'm sure you would know! Go ahead, explain.
83zeus Says:
Oct 30, 2009 - I don't hate christians or the religous. i hate that they retard society by retarding science. also i resent that they cannot be swayed regardless of the amount of evidence, logic, and reason used. even when backed into a corner and proven wrong its OK..."you just have to have faith" as a way of knowing "faith" sucks balls. even the religious will admit it as long as its not religon or their particular faith your talking about. but try and point that out to them...
RockaRollaZombie Says:
Oct 30, 2009 - Well, my friend, tell me how many persons of a group does it have to be to make a stereotype a characteristic? I "pidgeonhole" Catholics because they are the most hardcore theists I've seen that isn't called a cult. They believe that someone talks to God because he has a fancy hat. If you can beat that, you must be Fred Phelps.
kidrebel20002000 Says:
Nov 1, 2009 - once again i say you are ignorant before you start flipping about catholics how about learning about us...we are one of the only denominations to realize the bible shouldn't be taken as litterally as it used to be..since vatican 2 we have realized science is right and they have opened there minds finally to evolution and coinciding with crreationism...and trust me its not about the fancy hat sounds like someone is angry cause a catholic didnt give them attention when they were little
BarronTD Says:
Nov 2, 2009 - ... and yet the catholic authority teaches absurd beliefs about birth control and the roll of some imaginary friend in daily life ... But you're on the right track!
RockaRollaZombie Says:
Nov 3, 2009 - Now that church is accepting science. It was only 10 years ago when your church decided to apologize for punishing Galileo. For many years, they have denounced it and now they are changing their tone. Note your words "finally to evolution" after decades of denial.

Nov 9, 2009 - Science worship is wrong. Exodus 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before me.20:3 The first commandment is concerning the object of our worship, Jehovah, and him only,

Nov 16, 2009 - @vrghiks Who gives a fuck ?

spleenblender Says:
Oct 3, 2009 - No one is proposing you can't believe what you want. But we're just going to keep poking fun at an obviously childish and inane belief. People run the world who believe in an invisible man who doles out reward and punishment who is all loving and omnipotent but unwilling to intervene in countless tragedies that befall humans daily.
