doodydemon Says:

Nov 2, 2009 - Very powerful wizards (for example, Voldemort and Dumbledore) can use magic without a wand, even in the 5th book harry used the lumos spell and his wand wasn't in his hand but it still lit up.

Ilisity Says:

Nov 8, 2009 - Not quite the way i remember it from the book . This is like panto ghostbusters . Don't let the streams cross!

Legba85 Says:

Nov 9, 2009 - Voldemort couldn't beat D.D. (Dumbledore). D.D. owned that snake face freak.

metalore Says:

Nov 9, 2009 - Trips to the pensieve? What's a pensieve?

metalore Says:

Nov 9, 2009 - If there wands don't lock then what would they do?

xhappyxlifex Says:

Nov 9, 2009 - That thing Dumbledore uses to review memories, on the film they cut most of them

TheAllamondeSeries Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - Epic fight

SpikeDubbs Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - They don't lock because dumbledore's wand doesn't have the same feathered core as Voldemort's. Locking wands is called Priori incantatum. Its basically a strange occurrence that only happens when two wands with the same feathered core are used to attack each other. And they do exactly what they did after the Wands locked. They fired spells at each other.

SpikeDubbs Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - Its basically a huge bowl of sorts that hold memories of the person who put them in there. Any person can relive those memories after they enter the pensieve as if they were when it happened. So trips to the pensieve would mean the person would be experiencing those memories.

Nov 11, 2009 - 2:25 Avesome

coolfbiagent Says:

Nov 12, 2009 - Good question. I would like to know this too. How would they defend themselves against electricity or whatever is coming out of their wands straight at them when they are only a few metres away?

coolfbiagent Says:

Nov 12, 2009 - Funny at 4:53 - 4:57

metalore Says:

Nov 12, 2009 - If their wands don't lock then they would've hit and killed each other at the beginning instead of locking? Or only Dumbledore would've died since I guess only Voldemort used the killing curse.

SpikeDubbs Says:

Nov 12, 2009 - In terms of the movies thats the way it might've worked. But in the book they wouldn't lock. Its just impossible. The movies alter and change things. They locked in the movie because the producers, directors, or whoever thought it would be more exciting to do it that way.

SpikeDubbs Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - Well truth be told we have no way of knowing what would happen because neither Dumbledore nor Voldemort shouted a spell name before they fired magic. We don't know what the spell was and what it would do as a result of this. But they probably could've just blocked each others spells. There's a complex way of doing this which is described in The Chamber of Secrets book.

woutertje19 Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - for some reason dumbledore make's me think of albert einstein with a beard and a dress.

GGCC1 Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - Bellatrix reminds me a little of Cobra Commander. Always running away like a pussy. Cant wait to see her bite the dust in DH courtesy of Ron's mommy

momofgus3 Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - I agree with you about the HBP being "destroyed." To me, it felt like they just filmed a bunch of scenes and then someone just came and added them together. Maybe once I get the DVD and watch it a couple of times, I will begin to like it. It really should have been about the trips through the pensieve and Harry and Ginny's relationship, which they totally messed up. That kiss was pathetic.

mwcarolina Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - my issue was how little they talked of what the horcruxes were, in the movie they should've at least said that the snake, locket, cup were horcruxes and he might've got ravenclaws and in the kiss scene it would've been great too if ginny and harry found the tiara (the ravenclaw horcurx) and said how ugly it was.

momofgus3 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - That's true. If he never even saw the tiara in the room of requirement, how will he remember it in the last movie?

mwcarolina Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - yeah, my thought exactly, they can easily explain the locket, because of Kreacher but not the tiara.

H5gj Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - 1:46 You can really see the snakyness of Voldemort : D And I agree, the priori incantatem moment at the beginning of the duel is a bit inappropriate.
