Oct 13, 2009 - Ehhh, Fishbone is pretty much one of a kind, I've never seen anyone with the energy of Angelo Moore aside from the Chili Peppers or Henry Rollins, haha.

cman750rr Says:

Oct 15, 2009 - No Band period performs like FISHBONE!

neilneazer Says:

Oct 20, 2009 - This band cure my soul after my mom took her life.

flickerman68 Says:

Oct 20, 2009 - That is the truest essence of music.

flickerman68 Says:

Oct 20, 2009 - 24-7 were fantastic as well but Fishbone was just cut from some different kind of astral cloth. But I wish they both had garnered more success they were miles beyond their contemporaries.

neilneazer Says:

Oct 21, 2009 - I was just adding to someones comment for another band that had the same type of energy. SPYZ really didnt but they were great none-the-less but yes the same cloth my friend. I truly agree with your statement. They were the originator much like Little Richard and look what happened to him. These 2 unparalleled bands need not be forgotten due to the shitty bands that now plague our airwaves

XioJester Says:

Oct 21, 2009 - I haven't even seen punk bands perform like Fishbone...no amount of beer or coke can get you on that level lol. ...maybe H.R. from Bad Brains in his heydey, but not a whole BAND, ever.

neilneazer Says:

Oct 22, 2009 - LOL, thats funny....and oh so true.

Dameon725 Says:

Oct 23, 2009 - Agreed as well... These guys are so god damn high energy its ridiculous... Ridiculously amazing!... I have said it once and I will say it again, I have loved this song since I was three and it came out!

HomicidalxTurtle Says:

Oct 26, 2009 - great analysis haha

Kkrouton Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - The reason these guys aren't huge is because of the record companies. This band is different. The record companies don't have the balls to support them. They only back bands that use a formula that has worked in the past. That is why all the bands on the radio sound like two or three bands.

shantypiker41367 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - Reply to Kkrouton: The record companies didn't market this kind of music until it was being played by white Fishbone-Wannabes like Sublime, No Doubt, Mighty Bosstones, and the Chili Peppers. Fishbone started this kind of music, and got stepped over by the record companies

Kkrouton Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I agree that Fishbone has been unjustly ignored by the record companies. I'm not sure the other bands you mentioned got support because they are "white". And I'm not sure Fishbone "started" this kind of music. Fishbone was primarily a ska band when they started out. They themselves didn't start adding the other styles to their music until later. By that time the Chili Peppers, Bosstones, and Jane's Addiction were already pretty popular. Still Fishbone is a great and original band.

jazzbassoonpaul Says:

Nov 6, 2009 - I'm sure this has been said before here-why aren't they one of the biggest bands in the world? Such an underrated band-so influential.

mapache11 Says:

Nov 6, 2009 - I concur with kkrouton.. until a band jhas proven its marketability, they are controlled by record companies, and record companies like to have a specific audience for their bands. Fishbone's style is almost impossible to pin down, so record companies largely ignored them.

mapache11 Says:

Nov 6, 2009 - Talent means nothing compared to a bands ability to sell records and make money. A very unfortunate truth in Fishbone's case.

flickerman68 Says:

Nov 6, 2009 - Yes I agree.

Kkrouton Says:

Nov 7, 2009 - It's just a shame that no major record company has the balls to sign and support this band. It's no wonder that they are getting their asses kicked by on-line music sales. People don't want to pay $20 to buy an album with one good song on it. They try to blame the on-line music sellers, but they have no one but themselves and their own cowardly shortsighted practices. I predict that unless they make a major change to their philosophy, they will be out of business in ten years.

petertrickaz Says:

Nov 11, 2009 - Fucking awesome song!! Fishbone fucking owns!!
