Not sure what the basis of comparison is on the earlier posts but the Marine's Armor is more based off of the Starship Trooper's Marauder Armor for the M.I., minus the jump packs. Most games featuring "Power Suits" of the Terran Marine type were inspired by Heinlein's M.I troopers from his universe.
