It has been a long period that Israel tried to avoid fighting but the rocket launching didnt stop. Israel decided to respond when the rocket launching became worse. the hamas should fight in open fields and not to fire from schools, hospitals and the UN facilities. No government in the world will be merciful like Israel and wait 8 years of rocket launching on civilians before taking action.
