Oct 31, 2009 - Great, nice study. I have the majority on my side. Half of all Americans think fox is ideologically driven... That does not make me right however. All you have to do is watch fox for 5 minutes to know that it is a conservative network. This is not an issue worth debating. Its like arguing whether or not the sky is blue. I urge others to make themselves aware of the clownish network known as FOX. Boycott it. Call for its dismantling. Hope that Fox will change, but expect that it won't.

2010GOP Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - You're obviously not very bright -FOX News has made history w/the increase in viewership while MSNBC CNN's ratings are in the toilet -Please explain the difference between: O'Reilly and Olbermann Hannity and Maddow hahahaha........yea, keep trying to boycott FOX with their number of viewers. Meanwhile, you remain quiet on the real "clown": Olbermann Olbermann was banned from covering the election --- stockholders want him gone --- DailyKos HuffPo even call him an idiot

illxplicit07 Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - You are really annoying with these statistics that are directly from Fox's website. During primetime, fox, at most, draws 3 million viewers. Now, this is less than 1% of the entire population of the US. Let me get this straight, your argument is that this 1% dictates whether or not fox is a biased news group? What do you think based on your own observations? I totally agree that MSNBC is also a biased group, but they obviously have far less influence than fox. We can agree on that.

illxplicit07 Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - 2010GOP But honestly, the very fact that you, a republican, are defending FOX so vehemently, clearly exemplifies my point. I'm as liberal as they come, and I can clearly see bias in most cable news networks, left and right. MSNBC wishes they were FOX. FOX leads the parade of absurdity that is cable news. They push the limits of opinion/entertainment/politics.. This is why fox is the most successful cable news network. It is not real news.

2010GOP Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - illxpl: What does "only 3 million viewers" have anything to do with? Obviously, that is a sampling of how Americans recognize the pathetic bias with the other media outlets You lose ALL credibility when you say FOX is not "real news". Even some of the most liberal journalists have spoken out against the absurd claim from the White House FOX has "opinion" shows JUST LIKE the others. The difference is, FOX has on opposing views for virtually every topic, everyday ~Utter Stupidity

integral Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - "Fox has opposing views for virtually every topic, everyday"? You didn't have much credibility to begin with, and that killed off the last vestigial bit.

integral Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - Dang, 2010, you have an amazing fantasy life. Smoking some of that weed killer?

2010GOP Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - integral: All I do is post facts stats --- OBVIOUSLY that gets under your Liberal skanky skin. LMAO

GreatSatan1 Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - Are you of the opinion that Fox delivers no news. None? Are you of the opinion that MSNBC does a better job of delivering the news? Or CNN? Or ABC? Or CBS? Or NPR? (LOL) Who do YOU like for news? What do you have against entertainment?

illxplicit07 Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - Fox delivers a selective slice of news that best fits its conservative narrative. That is not the definition of objective news reporting. For God's sake, Roger Ailes(president of FOX) and Rupert Murdoch(owner of the network) are both staunch conservatives. Its no wonder the network leans so far to the right... "What do you have against entertainment?" I'm reminded of the 1976 classic "Network". watch?v=MTN3s2iVKKI

GreatSatan1 Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - So you get your opinions from movies, not Fox news?

neujack Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - Amazing. Such a flame war over Fox News. The Huffington Post said "You cannot watch Fox news and not feel your opinions validated, no matter who you are." Hard-core republicans are validated in their paranoia, liberals are validated in their paranoia, and nobody is left in the middle. Depressing. Bring back normal news please!

illxplicit07 Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - GreatSatan1 I do not follow any single group, any single source of media with the sole purpose of wanting to agree with what I hear. I gather information from many diverse sources, including my own worldly observations. But watching fox news is like watching American Gladiators. If you are trying to become a more informed individual, watching fox news is a complete waste of your time.

nukedude2 Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - I'm retired now. I have lots of time to waste. I enjoy watching Fox news.

nukedude2 Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - At least I know where your get your information. American Gladiators and movies. LOL I especially like watching Glen Beck lately. Watch him twice a day sometimes. He has done a hell of a job revealing all the communists in Obama's administration.

illxplicit07 Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - "I especially like watching Glen Beck lately." I'm sure you do McCarthy. Beck does use a chalk board, I mean, that alone makes him credible. right?

petele345 Says:

Nov 2, 2009 - Crazy, but I can't help imagining Glenn Beck with an apple in his mouth and as a center piece on the Thanksgiving dinner table.

wolfgangfaust Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - AMERICANS are just listening to the instructions from "dear leader"- I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face, - B.H. Obama, September 2008

trACEurace Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - hahahaha

Seaworldexists Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - Media matters is so pathetic. The tea party thing was a bit much but there was absolutely nothing else legitimate here. Its all Kiss ass Obama bullshit.

jensen1901 Says:

Nov 11, 2009 - Nope, sorry. They are pointing out the propaganda and lies that Fox pulls on you and millions of Americans every day. All they do is save videotape and show what Fox says (they also go after CNN and MSNBC, too). Thank god they are here holding the media accountable.

Seaworldexists Says:

Nov 12, 2009 - Put down the kool-aid

luisakanaruto Says:

Nov 12, 2009 - hahahahahaha Hannity is sooo stupid hhahahahahaahahahahhahaaha!!!

theMETALDOVE Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - is media matters...george soros' tax exempt media matters talking about FOX? FOX news commentators are clearly cut from the conservative cloth. MSNBC gets chills up it's leg when obama speaks. so what? i believe americanss can figure out what station they want to watch without the guidance and dollars of g soros,

velociti92 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Faux news is just a conservative as MSNBS is liberal. Many people may think "so then how do I get good information?" Most of what I learned about government came from Public Finance, Business law, and US history classes in college. I then get my information from faux news, msnbs, reuters, bbc, drudge report, chinese news, and russian news. I learned to speak a little russian and chinese in college. I can tell you that Russia and China are both much better than people precieve. rant end.
