Nov 17, 2009 - hahahhahaha..oh no I just burned a bible...am I going to ...hell?
BenjaminBattington Says:
Nov 17, 2009 - Your comment struck me, hellokatter. You seem to be a moral person. I know a lot of theists have drawn joy from the idea of hell. Anyone with a shred of compassion is disgusted by torture- and especially by the concept of a place of eternal torture. But doesn't that make you wonder why God would allow hell to exist? Why does a supposedly all-loving entity seem less moral than you or I?
andymacceltic Says:
Nov 18, 2009 - Look up the definition of existance, I think you'll find that hell does not 'exist'. If there is a god and he is just, well I know I'm a good person and I'm secure in the knowledge that I won't be going to 'hell' or any sort of eternal damnation. If god isn't just and my fate is spending eternity in hell then why would I want to worship someone like that?
hellokatter Says:
Nov 18, 2009 - Ephesians 2:9 " Not of works, lest any man should boast. " You think your good works will get you into heaevn ? you think that if a possibility of you being wrong, and God is real then your good works will back you up ? give me a break. As your fate you dont have to burn in hell i dont care if you sold your soul to the devil all you have to do is admit your a sinner and believe in Jesus Christ as your lord and savior is that so hard to do for eternal life ?
hellokatter Says:
Nov 18, 2009 - Hes is all loving, and a fair and just God. Why would you reject the God who gave you life just to believe in whatever and do whatever you want. God is angry with the wicked everyday psalm 7:11. People dont even acknowledge thur sinners anymore, people are so selfish just looking for ways to please thur bodies and mind. And if people publicly reject God in thur hearts and in thur speech God just has to deal to them
andymacceltic Says:
Nov 18, 2009 - So blindly accepting Jesus as my lord and saviour is better than genuinely being a good person? What about people who don't get the oppertunity to believe in Jesus? Doesn't sound a very fair system to me.
hellokatter Says:
Nov 18, 2009 - Who said it was blind, perhaps your walking into life in a blind state. You can still do good works if you wish and it will mean so much more. People who dont ahve the oppotunity to believe in Jesus such as aborted babies, and people who have never heard the bible or anything God will judge thur hearts and probably go to heaven
hellokatter Says:
Nov 18, 2009 - God cares
ChezNight Says:
Nov 18, 2009 - He wouldn't have made him if he did.
DrivenUpTheWall1 Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - and where is the evidence for this? have you seen god deal with these people . Thats just yr opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinion ! that sounded more like a speech from the devil if anyone not an all powerful all loving god. now be gone with you and stop being so disrespectful to other peoples opinions .
thekiyote Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - Dawkins is a smart man, don't get me wrong, but I think he has a tendency to overestimate people's ability to use their rational side. I've taught myself Tarot reading and gone to psychics knowing full well what cold reading is and a lot of the tricks. The good ones use the tricks, but still try to help. Saying "Mercury is in retrograde and you should study more in school" is stronger than "you should study more in school." If the psychic is a good person and help irrational people, who cares?
tonowicz1 Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - @hellokatter Your words read like a parody. It's as though you're not even real.

andymacceltic Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - babies that die, people brought up as a muslim with no exposure to christianity etc, loads of people may never get the chance to follow Jesus, how is that fair?
PoundinVaginas Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - I agree with parts of your statement... However, what you should keep in mind, is, most pyschics are not good people. Not based on any personality flaws, merely the fact that their profession entails lying to people in a vulnerable state.
PoundinVaginas Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - THEIR. NOT THUR.
blademanx Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - you need to ask yourself about people that even have had the exposure or atheists that have had all the opportunity...they should count themselves fortunate as many people will never get the opportunity to know...so when people throw it away they deserve to destroyed more than anyone else... thats up to God at the end of the day...No human can determine that..False doctrine would say they get destroyed but i doubt that is the case...
thekiyote Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - There are bad psychics out there, John Edwards comes to mind, but I think you're wrong to say most are like that. Any significant change requires vulnerability; a patient is vulnerable under a doctor's scalpel, a mentally ill person is vulnerable to the psychiatrist, a citizen if vulnerable to the police. This isn't bad in itself, it becomes bad when people use this power to take advantage of others rather than help. However, I will agree there is no oversight of 'psychics' one way or another.
ILMULQALAM Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - lol...no chance to follow jesus?...hes mentioned in the quran almost as much as moses..and muhammed
andymacceltic Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - What on earth has that got to do with what I said?
Chortleclips Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - If you study quantum theory and specifically quantum entanglement then we are all part one one entity so in a way, everyone should be psychic. But psychic in a way that has nothing to do with ghosts or any of that nonsense
ILMULQALAM Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - ''loads of people may never get the chance to follow Jesus, how is that fair? '' muslims follow his teachings...thats all im saying...there is knowledge of him okay?

Nov 16, 2009 - In regards to the first point, no he does not have to respect your point of view. He must respect that you have the right to have your point of view, but he is under no means required to respect it. Your third point is an absolutest statement. Care to share any evidence for such statement?
