Apr 30, 2009 - agreed. that was the performance of a lifetime. i was very upset about him not winning.

thurlowkieran Says:

May 3, 2009 - Penn was great in Milk, but Rourke's performance should have won the Oscar. It was a once in a lifetime role.

azrial4421 Says:

May 4, 2009 - Agreed But fuck all that award shit, if money is involved, then everything real suffers

azrial4421 Says:

May 4, 2009 - Wow he really didnt get paid, or atleast he said that in alot of other interviews. Thats makes the movie so much more touchy feely hahaha

May 30, 2009 - this is a quote from the movie ?

toepebble Says:

Jun 2, 2009 - Mickey looks sharp in this interview. Serena dose what seems to be common these days from interviewees and that is to try to ask a question by answering it. Rose does this. It annoying and hinders the interview.

flagal78 Says:

Jun 7, 2009 - Mickey Rourke is the best of the best, honest, tough and takes life on life's terms...plus he is right up there with Brando and DeNiro in terms of ability.....he has a rare combination of toughness and vulnerability that makes him very sexy....Mickey, you are STILL the man!

TriggerHappyMariachi Says:

Jun 13, 2009 - i like him but i still don't see why somebody should feel ashamed going to a grocery store on his own instead of having it done by their (then not affordable) butler.

flagal78 Says:

Jun 13, 2009 - This was about deep shame, re: the self-inflicted crash. This makes him sound very spoiled, but really, its all relative. If you are used to the Bentley end up in a 10-yr.old Ford. In these bad times, he probably avoided the public-- he was somewhat recognizable, yet approachable enough for them to ask those painful questions, like, 'why aren't you working?'. At least, when we lose our jobs/careers, its not in the National Enquirer!

flagal78 Says:

Jun 13, 2009 - I agree that he needs to stay close to that therapist who has seen him all these years...that guy helped him to save his life. Its when things start flying too high that you are at the most critical point.....let's pray that he makes it thru this and it settles at a good point. Mickey is one tough s.o.b.....and he was man enough to get help...he needs to continue with that.

hoklik2 Says:

Jun 16, 2009 - get your own fucking chesse! Best. Movie. Ever.

CritDowg Says:

Aug 30, 2009 - Come back? I love all the rolls he played in all the movies through the years. I didn't think he went anywhere. I guess it's a comeback of being accepted by the mainstream retards and a financial comeback for him. It hit me like a kick to the nuts,he's fresher than monkeys breath. And Richy, your a fag. I wish I could do that to you. And my mits.

dragondon Says:

Oct 9, 2009 - I have know Mickey since 1985 because we had the same boxing trainer Bill Slayton. Once I moved to the Valley, I switched to Pat Goosen and we rarely saw each other. My best friend was Chris Penn and he always credited Mickey for getting him into the business of acting. Mickey is a humble, loyal, and trusted friend regardless of whether or not we see each other often. your friend, Don "the Dragon" Wilson
