Aug 11, 2009 - I would look at the aperature setting or your ISO. You can normally leave the aperature and raise the ISO level if you want to set a certain depth of field.

Oct 27, 2009 - Whe using a white background always illuminate the background to maintain the whiteness and separate the subject, place a strobe or your lights off to the side ( 1 each ) and aim them at the background, it prevents the color from spreading and keeps your whites white.
