Jul 10, 2009 - This is for the poster of the video. Couldn't help but notice the name. Are you related to Phil Volk?

Jul 11, 2009 - Cheesy? Things were simplier back then. No worse in chessiness than the Sgt. Pepper era get ups for the Beatles.
rascal211 Says:
Jul 12, 2009 - I don't like this song. Not any type of catchy hook in it. Sounds like a country rock mix with no melody. It was not one of their better songs.
PAULLONDEN Says:
Jul 16, 2009 - I know what you mean Lee , But in The Beatles case, it was "cheesyness"backed by charisma. The Raiders were more or less a "manufactured band like The Monkees. After '66 except Lindsay, none of these dudes played on their own albums. , It was all about Terry Melcher and his merry band of ace session men. Don't get me wrong.I'm a fan, I bought their singles in the 6T's.

Jul 20, 2009 - I like their get-ups they look handsome in them. And I like the song I had the album.

Jul 27, 2009 - I loved this song. It was different. Back then all the songs had two verses, a chorus, and a third verse. This song didn't. And, as always, the guitar player came up with a riff that was new and different.

Aug 8, 2009 - "...and he uses it to plug in his guitar!" and Revere plays keyboards LOL...Also sounds like he says "THE Paul Revere and the Raiders"

MusicDude86 Says:
Aug 27, 2009 - You're forgetting about the period (1961-1964) before they hooked up with Terry Melcher.....there may have been a lack of top 40 singles during that period, but their stage show was far from being "cheesy." They were a tough, RB-infused rock band.

MikeBlitzMag Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - The Great Airplane Strike is but one of many examples of why Paul Revere And The Raiders were one of the ten best bands of the twentieth century. One of the few examples of the Jim Valley era Raiders in Action (pun intended). God bless them!
