Perhaps to help a parent whose health may be failing? There are different circumstances that come into play. As far as the one who lost their love, it is very sad and upsetting.

Maybe I should clarify that if a man is devious and he breaks a woman's heart he is no good. This also applies to women. I've been on both end of the spectrums, but I assure you that if I broke a man's heart, it's because he broke mine first.

The trick is to not give away your whole heart, lest it be shattered to bits. I have a huge problem with trusting people and for good reason.
