Nov 3, 2008 - The real animatronic figures are below your Doom Buggy-- painted very light colors. They shine a light onto the figures, which bounces them off of the monstrously huge pane of glass which you look through at the Ballroom scene. You're seeing their reflection as if they're in a window. You can make your own pepper's ghost rather easily with a glass from a picture frame, a paper cut-out, and a flashlight.

Mar 7, 2009 - i took a tour backstage and what they have is manikins twirling in the ballroom or a room next to it. some type of net screen is between the viewers and the manikins and a special black light shines through the net and makes the manikins appear transparent.
