I remember reading somewhere that the music playing during the prophecy was from Midnight, but Davros' music was taken from Midnight as well. There must be a connection here. Somewhere. But they've all but confirmed that 'he will knock four times' DOESN'T refer to the Master.

Nov 2, 2009 - Well, Davros' altered the fabric of reality. So its possible that everything is really effed up and The Doctor has to fix it - or can't. More spoilers for WOM... The Master does show up at the end, I believe. It airs in the UK on the 15th of November, and the US on 14th of December.

Nov 11, 2009 - i agree with Morgan9123 - i think jacobi should have had more time as the master. I've always thought the master (and the doctor for that matter) should be played by more time-served, believable actors. I'd have had Robert Lindsay or Martin Clunes as the Doctor (a return to the bumbling but serious buffoon, like the 2nd) versus Jacobi's Master.
