Dec 5, 2006 - Alot of what was mentioned in both parts did happen. Zoning for Residential Buisness etc. Did happen. Same for the parks, just go to Memphis and tell me it doesn't look like those "images of the Future"

Jan 5, 2007 - The kids on here don't seem to understand how revolutionary this World's Fair was. Consider the fact that this was nearly 70 years ago. Most of the country was still using dirt roads!

Dec 4, 2006 - Sadly, WWII was about to break out and the dream soon died. I only wonder how things might have been had the war not occurred. It's such a shame. This was old-school America, with vision, conviction and balls. Those qualities seemed to die in the war as well.
