May 19, 2008 - yes. infact i think this one would possibly push a car if it was given a jet nozzle. not push it very fast though, you do need larger APU's for that.

May 23, 2008 - those blade on the exit are the NGV/stator blades for when there was a power turbine there, as the power turbine isn't going to be use the blades should be removed to give the exhaust gases no restriction and thus more thrust..

Mar 17, 2009 - Is that an RC glow plug? I have the earlier version of that same engine (the rotax ct2023) and need a simpler way to get the flame started. Your way seems to work pretty well. Any help or a part number for the plug would be appreciated.

Mar 17, 2009 - yes it is an RC glowplug, we removed the APU ignitor and machined a plug that fitted the same thread, in this plug we also drilled and tapped for a glow plug and a seperate hole for gas
