But one thing I never understand is why athiest come on to a sight where they know people that believe in Jesus Christ are and argue. It's okay if you don't believe, but if you are so secure in your beliefs why come onto a youtube video and argue with other people. Why not just be satisfied with who you are and what you believe. We respect who you are and what you believe, but why get in someone elses face about it. Be secure.

I'm not one of those people, and yes, they hurt Christianity. But to say that all this happened by sheer chance, that's what is truly ridiculous. Human consciousness did not come from undirected chaos. Intelligence does not arise from non-intelligent randomness.

Nov 24, 2009 - You never went to Sunday school with me as a kid. This is gentle parody. After I read the Bible at age 7 (it was an important book after all) I was full of questions, and much stickier ones that this. I tried hard to have faith, but eventually Christianity overloaded and destroyed my bullshit buffer. You could say I'm handicapped in that area now, gullibility challenged even.

I just wish they'd make one like this where teh kids asked really outrageous questons til the priest freaked out! The kids did an excellent job. Wonder if they were professional actors?

I tried to love and submit to this god, but deep inside I couldn't! respect submit to something I had to fear. That's Y I don't believe any Xian who claims they love the Xian god! Who in their right mind could commit to a being like that? That have to be fear struck to do that, maybe oblivious to what their god really is.

Funny thing about that is most atheists know more about scripture the history of the early church than Christians do!! I studied a number of bible versions, NT, OT, the Vulgate, Codex Sinaiticus, the Apocrypha, etc, before I graduated 2 Atheism from being Christian. That's usually what makes a Xian turn atheist. U have to have to study it more deeply than ever B4! That'll do it!

Nov 24, 2009 - fonna Oh, that was suicide 2 ask questions, but I couldn't help it. And they hated me asking questions more than any1. I guess I was pretty perceptive in my early years. I know when I got into the 4th grade, thats when I really started with the questions. Two subjects I couldn't stop asking about; Orig. Sin Hell! Just B4 I was supposed 2 start the 8th grade, they asked me to leave! They said I would be happier in a public school. What they actually meant was that "they" would be happier!!

Nov 24, 2009 - I only went to Catechism on Saturdays, just long enough to make my communion, and I was out!! I actually had to lie to the priest in confession because I couldn't think of any sins I commited, and after I got out, I was so afraid God was going to kill me because I lied about "lying to my mother" ....that SHE told me to tell the priest! ......which was a lie! What a way to mindscrew a 9 year old.

Nov 25, 2009 - Well, that was the first and last time I went. I was completely in pieces when I came out of church that day that I forgot to say the 2 Our Fathers and the Hail Mary at the alter......which also added to my fear. Thank goodness Dad was there to say " Jesus Christ!! Forget about it!!", and snapped me out of the votex of delusion. Oh, Ioved my pop. He was so down to earth.
