Jun 24, 2007 - "Stop impersonating sunshine on a rainy day." Play that thang Jorma. If you have a clip of 'Roads Roads ' you're the man dude but thanks for this.

Jun 25, 2007 - Wow...I remember Vital Parts/White Gland.Back then I really did not get it. On the heels of the 6-hour electric Hot Tuna shows of the late 70's. Jorma loping off his hair. Some guy Denny Dagorio vs Jack Cassidy on bass. Seeing this footage today, Jorma was playing some great guitar. The band was also pretty good.

Jul 20, 2007 - Wow, vital parts, its great to see this vintage footage, it brings back a lot of memories. I saw vital parts with jorma at the savoy in NY where I met promotor Bill Gramhan. I wishe who ever post this video had some Hot Tuna From the 1970s, best shows ever.

FeitenFan Says:

Jul 24, 2007 - Hi, as a matter of fact I have a video of Tuna at SUNY New Paltz 1975, the "Rampage Years" with Gregg Douglas. They do Rock Me Baby, Serpent, Walkin and Hesitation. The video is REAL SHAKEY, but very watchable. It is the only one I have ever seen of this period myself. I have been trying to upload the songs to YouTube but they keep getting rejected, I think do to the poor video quality? I will try again

Sep 8, 2007 - love all these posts feitenfan - would you happen to have a solo "Genesis"? Preferably from early '80's. When Jorma had that super buzz haircut - I have seen Jorma and HT throughout the years and the early '80's Jorma was my favorite. :) thanks for these clips - pretty intense Do you have a "Vampire Women" ?

FeitenFan Says:

Sep 10, 2007 - Hi, I am not sure if I have a version of Vampire Woman, I will check. I am slowly going through my "stuff" and transfering them to DVD, so as I do it I sometimes put an excerpt on YouTube. I will check.

Makaeff Says:

Sep 27, 2007 - Yeah, there were many line-ups for those bands. Denny was from the Offs, Bob Steeler played drums for Jorma and for the Offs during that time and Hillary Stench and Denny with Jorma. Some guy that drummed for Meat Loaf Meat Loaf as well. ....... The solo acoustic sets Jorma played during these years were the incredible

Sep 9, 2008 - Jorma sounded great but didn't look to healthy during this period.

hgievcm Says:

Feb 28, 2009 - Thanks for this awesome post! It's the first I've seen of Jorma doing a blazing electric guitar solo. Most of the posts are his fingerpicking, which is great, but during this period his electric solos were the epitome of psychedelic hard rock.

freekguitarlover Says:

Jul 2, 2009 - Actually, the bassist here is Hilary Hanes, brother of John Hanes, the drummer. Together they were called "The Stench Brothers," famed for playing in Pearl Harbor The Explosions and, for a short time, with Chrome.

The10nisnut Says:

Jul 26, 2009 - These were great days! I saw Jorrma many times at My Fathers Place, Northstage on Long Island and Toads in New Haven CT. Vital Parts, solo acoustic, early and late shows, he was hammered most of the time drinkin' vodka and whatever else...Jorma's a magician!
