indymadferit Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - This rap isn't even remotely good. Most of the lines end in "yeah" or "yo" in order to make the rhymes quota. Seriously?
Dinuska222 Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - But if you listen, you can realize that the words before "yeah"s and "yo"s are rhyme with each other.
nola305 Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - indymadferit, I don't know where you're from, but in New Orleans we speak in our "own" lexicon as you might already know. When a New Orleanian stresses a point in conversation, they'll follow it up with "yeah" or "no". These words affirm what was said. (examples); "I'm not talkin' to you, no" or, "that gumbo was good, yeah" with the emphasis on "no" or "yeah". Watch the videos on New Orleans lexicon. You can also GOOGLE New Orleans lexicon for more in-depth research on this, "ya heard me"!
