Binary, as the mind is it is all a bunch of data. The thoughtfulness is very good, however that was not a real flower bursting forth with Lfe essence and beauty. Very artistic and touching though.

However, just because our perceptions are arbitrary, why does that have to mean that they are fake? The girl in the film thought the flower was real, so it was real. It conveyed all the love and emotion that we get from our universe. Our egos are the only thing telling us our feelings are more valid than a robots, that we're more real than holograms. We can still be happy knowing it's all an illusion.

Oct 28, 2009 - There is a True meaning behind all our fake meanings that we project. This is what i am getting at. Whatever we project on that flower, it Is what it Is and most dont see what it Is truly as a living being with ISness of the universe... There is this very example in a book called Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley. Clearing the doors of our perception would show us what a flower truly is, with out projecting our own meaning onto it. Just as a reference, so you can get an idea what i mean.

The problem is that no matter how much clearing you do, how can we ever be certain that we're not simply viewing another door? The problem with an intrinsic Truth is that it's absolute is only as objective as the observer claims it to be. What you see as Truth, a more developed or acute being or mind might simply view as another barrier to perception.

Oct 28, 2009 - the truth is so much different than what we are currently seeing that it doesnt even matter what i say it is or my blocked perception and symbols of it are.. i can describe what i am saying... it is like all the people being blind and the person who can see the truth is the one with good eyes, everything still there regardless if you can see it or not. In a binary system of yeses and nos the truth would be the thing that both sides agree on...

Nov 2, 2009 - I think that's just because the 'dream' is ending, like they always do. They catch her during periods of higher brain activity and try to give her some stimulation, but every time she slips away...and she's aware of that enough to feel a sense of loss every time it happens.
