I could see how the judges could have given it to Randy because he controlled vera and used his dirty boxing, but imo Vera deserved that win. Having said that Vera wasnt too impressive. Travesty? nah. Ive seen worse(shogun vs. Machida).. Bottom line Randy is never that great at LHW and that was one boring performance, by both.

Nov 19, 2009 - I turned this fight off in the second round, I turned it off at the begining before the fight, but then I thought I would at least watch the begining. I wish I hadn't. Snoozefest. Vera is fun to watch and randy is tough but Randy is just so boring to watch. Never again will I watch him fight and just squeeze someone for 15 min. I wish the UFC would not bring him in anymore.

Couture kept Vera at bay against the Fence, and imposed his will upon Vera. Was it amazing, No. Was is spectacular. No. Couture looked for the win, not the show. Vera did nothing to fight back against the clinch. And tell me, how many 46 year olds do you know that can still fight like Randy, not many. Randy won, he is still great, he doesn't throw a show for you he wins

Nov 23, 2009 - I could see how they could give it to Couture because of his 3rd round dirty boxing and the fact he controlled Vera the ENTIRE match, but made for a boring fight. Having said that it was a close fight, but they should of gave Vera the dicision. Im a HUGE Couture fan but i think he should call it quits soon, although we all love to see him beating down the younger fighters..=p
