Nov 18, 2009 - For everyone who wonders why Simon stopped him. Every contestant usually gives a history of things they have done. The boy had already appeared in a TV show and sung publicly. He never hid theses facts so it's quite possible Simon (or someone for him) did some research (easy to find on Youtube) and heard him sing his Michael Jackson song. Maybe he was expecting him to sing that, but he didn't. He probably took a gamble to stop him, see if he'd sing the MJ song
