It has been rewritten and translated so many times, that's it's historical credibility is close to zero. From a religious standpoint, I'm sure it's different. But historically, it's inaccurate.

Nov 6, 2009 - Actually the bible is the most accurate text in the world as far as prophecies about future events, feel free to look up some of them, they are very interesting. I agree that is has been translated a lot, but the new testament was written at different points around 50 AD and when they found the Dead Sea Scrolls in the around the 1950's , which are some of the earliest texts we have and they compared it to current bibles and it was 98 percent accurate, so i must disagree.
