Nov 26, 2008 - This video makes me happy I bought a cyclocross frame for my urban assault bike when I lived in San Francisco. Now I have to replace my slicks with traction tires because I live in Oregon and I want to do this. It looks like so much fun! Where do I sign up?

Jun 27, 2009 - Suspension isn't very useful in cross racing. Plus it makes the bike considerably heavier, and you end up carrying your bike quite a bit in a cross race. And they aren't true road bikes. The frame geometry is most similar to road bikes, and the tires are definitely skinnier than MTB tires, but they aren't your standard 23c road tire either. Most 'cross tires are minimum 28c.
