Forgot the subject, dont get uppity. None of this changes the fact that Ronald Reagen sold weapons to the ayatollah, and then used the money to fund guerrilla groups in south America. Nov 3, 2009 - The Iran-Contra Affair is the last thing we should discuss because I watched every hearing, every day, until it's conclusion. The deal with Iran was to secure the release of US hostages being held by Hezbollah. Israel would sell the arms and give the money to the US who then sent it to anti-communist rebels in Nicaragua. The investigation uncovered no evidence that Reagan had any knowledge of the plans. Let's not forget, Reagan brought down the Berlin wall which is worthy of praise.
