Some people are evidently unsatisfied by the fact of a loser with a rifle, so they're compelled to create an elaborate dream world filled with shadowy Mafia and CIA conspiracies and Hollywood-style plot twists more befitting a presidential assassination. I prefer the truth, however prosaic and boring.

I've noticed that many, like you, tend to believe in a long list of conspiracy theories, not just one. Apparently this fulfills some psychological need that I do not understand. I don't believe every conspiracy theory that comes my way, just the ones that I decide are credible after having examined both sides of the argument. The "psychological need" you alure to is this: I have the freedom to not believe everything I am told by authority... I have the choice to examiine all available evidence and decide for myself.
