Aug 12, 2009 - electrics like the ev-1 were discontinued from leasing beause batteries werent progressing fast enough due widely to environmentalism getting people away from them with the battery recycling act in all major population states. ALSO electrics still have to have the battery's replaced and that alone can cost up to 10K every 8-10 years in some electrics and im not talking tesla.
